Amoroso happy to stay at Dortmund

BORUSSIA DORTMUND star Marcio Amoroso claims that he has ended his dispute with coach Matthias Sammer and committed his future to the Bundesliga giants.

Amoroso left Parma for Dortmund in 2001 for a Bundesliga-record of ‚é¼25 million and, although his goals fired Sammer's team to the Bundesliga title and into the Uefa Cup final, he often clashed with hard task-master Sammer about disciplinarian issues, and threatened to leave.

The Brazilian ace insists that his problems with Sammer have now been resolved and that he is happy to stay at Dortmund.

"We had talks which cleared the air between us and now I am finally able to understand his football philosophy," Amoroso told Sportbild.

"Back then I was frustrated, but now I know that I will fulfil my contract with Borussia until 2005, no matter what happens."
