Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Bulgarian international Dimitar Rangelov has joined Maccabi Tel-Aviv on loan. The striker, who was a second-half substitute for his country in their recent defeat to England, will spend the rest of the season away from Signal-Iduna-Park after an arrangement was reached shortly before the closure of the Israeli transfer window. Rangelov, 27, joined Dortmund in the June of 2009 after leaving Energie Cottbus following their relegation from the Bundesliga. A statement on Dortmund's official website read: "Borussia Dortmund striker Dimitar Rangelov moves on loan with immediate effect to the Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Tel Aviv." Rangelov has scored one goal in 14 appearances for Dortmund and is under contract until June 2013.
