PSV missed the chance to close the gap on Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie as they drew 1-1 at home to Roda JC Kerkrade.

A Joshua Brenet own goal in the 51st minute gave Roda the lead before Davy Propper nicked a point for the home side 15 minutes from time. PSV are now three points behind Ajax, who travel to Utrecht on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Cambuur recorded a shock 3-1 win over NEC Nijmegen. Bartholomew Ogbeche struck either side of a Xander Houtkoop own goal for the struggling side, before Christian Santos put through his own net to seal the result.

And FC Twente climbed to within two points of safety after beating bottom club De Graafschap 2-1.

It started badly for the home side, who saw Nick Marsman sent off before the half-hour mark, and Cas Peters then missed a penalty for De Graafschap before Andrew Driver put them in front.

But Twente bounced back just two minutes later through Joachim Andersen, before Hakim Ziyech struck in the 90th minute for the 10-man side.

Ten-man Ado Den Haag drew 1-1 at home to Willem II despite taking the lead in the 33rd minute via Kevin Jansen's strike.
