Feyenoord manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will leave the club at the end of the season after almost four years in charge.
The former Barcelona, Arsenal and Rangers midfielder made more than 200 appearances in two separate spells for the Dutch side before joining the coaching set-up in 2011.
Van Bronckhorst, who led Feyenoord to their first Eredivisie title in 18 years in 2017, says he is ready for a new challenge but insists he remains focused on his role for the rest of the 2018/19 campaign.
"There is still a lot to fight for this season. We must secure European football through the league or through the cup," he said.
"I'm looking forward to it. At the same time, I have been thinking a lot about whether I want to stay for one or more years as head coach of Feyenoord after this season.
"That was a very difficult decision, because Feyenoord is in my heart.
"However, in my career I have always followed my feelings and my feeling now says that I should not do that and that's fine."
