Poulsen keen to showcase his talents at this summer's Euro finals
AZ Alkmaar full-back Simon Poulsen is flattered to be linked with a move to Ajax but would like to prove himself in another league.
Ajax manager Frank de Boer has already admitted he is considering making a summer swoop for the Denmark international, who has been at AZ since 2008 but is out of contract at the end of the season.
While he is pleased with the link to Ajax, the 27-year-old would like to prove himself in another league.
He believes the 'right offer' will come his way if he can showcase his talents at this summer's European Championship finals, where Denmark have been drawn in a tough Group B against Holland, Germany and Portugal.
Proud
He told
BT: "I am proud that Frank de Boer follows me.
"Ajax is a big club internationally but I haven't heard something serious from them, yet.
"On the other hand, I would like to prove myself in another league. I hope I will get playing time during the European Championship.
"Then, I believe that the right offer will land on the table."
