Willem II are still searching for their first Eredivisie win of the season after a 1-0 home defeat against NEC Nijmegen.
NEC had lost their last two games without scoring, but they ended their drought with a fine 64th-minute strike from Navarone Foor on Friday night.
The midfielder cut in from the right before curling a left-footed effort from the edge of the area in off the underside of the crossbar for his second goal of the campaign.
The hosts had no answer and ended the evening on two points from their opening four games.
The win lifts Nijmegen up to sixth place in the table ahead of the rest of the weekend's fixtures.
