CONNOLLY IN LINE FOR RECALL
FORMER Wolves striker David Connolly will return to Feyenoord despite not seeing eye to eye with the Dutch club's former manager, Leo Beenhakker.
Connolly has been in devastating form with Feyenoord's feeder club, Excelsior Rotterdam, in the Dutch First Division blasting 13 goals in 15 matches and as a result, has been recalled by his parent club.
Connolly moved to Feyenoord three years ago from Watford becoming the highest earner in the Dutch league. But after falling out with Beenhakker, Connolly was shipped out to Wolves where he enjoyed another successful loan spell.
Feyenoord have promised to send a replacement for Connolly should the Republic of Ireland international decide on a move back to The Kuip.
