NAC Breda lose Slot

NAC Breda's Arne Slot has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

NAC Breda's Arne Slot has been sidelined for several weeks following a hamstring injury.

The midfielder limped off the pitch after only half an hour of their Eredivisie clash against RKC Waalwijk.

Upon assessing the injury, it was found that Slot had damaged his hamstring, and coach Ton Lokhoff will surely miss the talented midfielder in the weeks to come.

Since joining the club from FC Zwolle in the summer of 2002, Slot has become a first team regular with the Dutch outfit.

This season alone, he has made 21 appearances for NAC, and chipped in with three goals.

In the RKC clash, further injuries were also sustained to Benny Kerstens (pictured) and Davy Scholen.
