Gonzalo Higuain's stunning strike saw Juventus finish on top of Champions League Group H as they beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in Turin.
After a lifeless first half, Higuain fired Juve ahead shortly after the break before Daniele Rugani headed in a second to wrap up the victory and confirm the Serie A club's passage as group winners.
Juve were already through to the knockout stages of the competition but needed a win to guarantee topping the group, while Dinamo were already confirmed as the group's bottom side.
Sevilla joined Juventus in the last 16 after they held Lyon to a goalless draw.
The French side needed to win by two clear goals to pip their rivals to second spot in Group H behind Juventus but, despite hitting the woodwork twice, could not find a breakthrough.
FC Copenhagen ended their Champions League Group G campaign with a 2-0 victory over Club Brugge but Porto's thumping 5-0 win over Leicester condemned them to the Europa League.
Brandon Mechele turned the ball into his own net and Mathias Jorgensen then added a second but it was all in vain for the Danish side as Porto finished as runners-up behind Leicester.
Legia Warsaw secured a place in the Europa League at the expense of 10-man Sporting Lisbon after a 1-0 Champions League Group F win at the Polish Army Stadium.
Both teams were already out of the Champions League but the Portuguese side needed just a draw to progress to the second-tier tournament but Marques Guilherme's strike ensured it was Legia who advanced.
The away side were reduced to 10 men five minutes from the end when William Carvalho picked up his second booking within three minutes for hauling down Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe as he burst through from midfield.
Group F was won in dramatic fashion by Borussia Dortmund, who fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Karim Benzema's double appeared to have put Real on course progress as group winners. However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his remarkable scoring sequence with his 19th goal in as many games on the hour, and substitute Marco Reus struck two minutes from time to wrest back top spot.
Monaco were already guaranteed to win Group E ahead of Bayer Leverkusen but the Germans secured their first ever win over the Ligue 1 side to finish in style.
Vladlen Yurchenko had been out injured since April but marked his return in spectacular fashion with a long-range opener and Julian Brandt added a second three minutes after the break.
The 3-0 win was completed eight minutes from time. Technically it was a fifth consecutive missed penalty for the Germans, with Wendell hitting the underside of the bar and the ball then striking goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis and rolling in.
Elsewhere in the group, Tottenham salvaged something from their campaign by beating CSKA Moscow 3-1 to qualify for the Europa League.
