Coach fired up for crucial clash with champions in Group H
AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that the UEFA Champions League game against Barcelona next week will be like a final.
Barca and Milan have dominated the group and the winner of their clash at the San Siro will most likely top the group.
The first clash between the two sides at Camp Nou ended in a 2-2 draw with Milan equalising in the closing seconds.
Allegri told
Gazzetta dello Sport: "Against Barcelona I want it to be a good evening.
"If we go into this with the wrong attitude we won't have chances. We must go to the ground with the awareness we can beat them.
"It's like a final and we will try to win it. But maybe second in the group could be lucky in the next round to draw a weaker team in Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
"A good draw is fundamental for getting to the quarter-finals."
Angry
Allegri has dismissed suggestions striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is difficult to work with, and would not be drawn on Kevin-Prince Boateng quitting international duty at just 24 years of age.
"Ibrahimovic is easier to manage than I thought," he said. "The only problem is he gets angry when he loses in a training match. But I consider that a positive thing.
"I consider Boateng to be a fundamental player who can become even better.
"I don't enter into my players' private life, but considering they are famous, it's better they manage themselves in a good way, using their mind."
