Arsenal will face CSKA Moscow in the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Gunners, who beat AC Milan 5-1 on aggregate in the last 16, will play the first leg at home on April 5 with the return leg at the VEB Arena scheduled for April 12.
CSKA Moscow failed to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages this season with Manchester United and Basel progressing from their group.
Finishing third and dropping into the Europa League, the Russians beat Red Star Belgrade 1-0 on aggregate in the round of 32 and then defeated French side Lyon in the last 16 on away goals.
Arsenal could be encouraged by CSKA's poor results against Premier League opposition this season with United winning 4-1 in Russia and 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Arsene Wenger's side avoided competition favourites Atletico Madrid, who have been drawn against Sporting Lisbon.
Atletico, second in La Liga, are aiming to win the competition for a third time having lifted the trophy in 2010 and 2012, and will host the first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano before a trip to Portugal.
In the other ties, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg were not paired together with the Bundesliga side facing Marseille and the Austrians playing Lazio.
