Galaxy midfielder not ruling out staying in MLS

David Beckham has yet to make a decision on his future and is not ruling out staying in Major League Soccer beyond this season. The former England captain's contract at Los Angeles Galaxy expires at the end of the year and Beckham is weighing up his options. He turns 36 next month and intends to carry on playing next year, providing he can maintain his fitness. "Yeah, you know, there's a chance," he was quoted as saying on the Galaxy's official website. "I haven't made any decision about what I'm going to do after this year. "At the end of the day, I am 35 years old, I'll be 36 in May and I'm getting older, so I'll need to see how my body feels at the end of the season, and if I feel that I can perform and continue, then I will continue. "In a few months I will think about what I want to do and [decide]. "I still love the game like I did when I was 21 years old and I still feel fit. I look after myself." Beckham trained with Premier League side Tottenham earlier this year in the MLS off-season and Harry Redknapp had expressed an interest in taking him to White Hart Lane in a playing capacity.
