Robin van Persie left out of Netherlands squad again

Robin van Persie has again been left out of the Netherlands squad for their upcoming friendlies against France and England.
The Fenerbahce striker, who is the national team's all-time leading scorer with 50 goals in 101 caps, was also left out of the November friendlies against Wales and Germany.
The 32-year-old has scored 10 goals for the Turkish side, and last played for the national team in October against Czech Republic, where he scored once and netted an own goal in the 3-2 defeat which ended their Euro 2016 qualification hopes.
Manchester United's Memphis Depay is included, while AZ Alkmaar defender Ron Vlaar returns to the squad.
Danny Blind's 28-man squad also includes Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben, Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder, Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum and Stoke's Ibrahim Afellay.
Netherlands host France on March 25, and travel to England on March 29.
