England manager Roy Hodgson insists he's never thought about whether any Wales players would make it into his side or vice versa

Roy Hodgson and Wayne Rooney are certainly showing no signs of being affected by Wales' fighting talk ahead of Thursday's 'Battle of Britain' in Lens.

Instead, the pair were keen to deflect the question of "how many England players would get into the current Wales team" onto the assembled media, with Hodgson even suggesting they should have a quiz!

On Tuesday, Wales star man Gareth Bale suggested with a smile that no England player would get into Chris Coleman's starting XI.

The Real Madrid forward also claimed Wales have more pride and passion than the Three Lions, while team-mate Aaron Ramsey is on record as saying Coleman has the better team going into their Euro 2016 Group B clash at the Stade Felix Bollaert-Delelis.

Wales will hope their pre-match taunts will have the desired effect as they look to secure their place in the last 16 with a victory over their English rivals.
