England supporters have requested just 12,500 tickets for next summer's World Cup in Russia after the opening two weeks of the latest sales period.
The figure represents only 0.5 per cent of applications from around the world.
FIFA have revealed the numbers to Sky Sports News following the opening of a second round of ticket sales on December 5.
More than 2.3m tickets have been requested this month and the current phase remains open until January 31.
Russian fans have applied for the highest number of tickets ahead of supporters from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, USA, Spain, Germany, Egypt and China.
England are currently ranked 18th for global requests, with 12,489, but the Football Association are understood to be relaxed by the figures and anticipate a strong turnout from fans at their games next year.
England open their World Cup campaign against Tunisia in Group G on June 18 before facing Panama six days later, with Belgium the final group-stage opposition on June 28.
Following the end of last month's opening phase of World Cup ticket sales, England received an allocation of 12,760 - 1.7 per cent of tickets assigned worldwide.
Ticket sales for the World Cup, made through FIFA's website, are divided into multiple phases, followed by last-minute sales.
The latest random selection phase closes on January 31 and reopens on March 13 for a further three weeks.
More than 500,000 tickets were requested on the opening day of World Cup ticket sales in September.
Prices range from £79 for the cheapest seats at group stage matches to £829 for the most expensive seats at the final.
Supporters must apply for FAN ID, a Russian identity card, after receiving their ticket confirmation, which will also guarantee visa-free travel and complimentary use of special trains around Russia during the competition.
In line with previous ticketing policies, Russian residents will have a special price category with tickets starting at £17.
