Minev included for Group G double header

Bulgaria have named their squad for the forthcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against England and Montenegro. Levski Sofia defender Veselin Minev has been recalled to the national team who open their Group G campaign against Fabio Capello's Three Lions next Friday. Bulgaria coach Stanimir Stoilov added Minev to the almost entirely foreign-based squad that includes players from England, Italy, Holland and Germany. Stoilov is struggling to find a replacement for former captain Dimitar Berbatov to lead Bulgaria's attack after the Manchester United forward retired from international football in May after failing to lead the team to the World Cup in South Africa. But there is a place in the squad for Aston Villa's Stiliyan Petrov and Martin Petrov of Bolton for the Wembley date against England and the home tie versus Montenegro in Sofia on 7th September. Bulgaria squad: Nikolay Mihailov (FC Twente), Vladislav Stoyanov (Sheriff Tiraspol) Veselin Minev (Levski Sofia), Zhivko Milanov, Stanislav Genchev (both Vaslui), Ivan Ivanov (Alania), Zahari Sirakov (Amkar), Ilian Stoyanov (Sanfrecce), Stanislav Manolev (PSV Eindhoven) Stanislav Angelov (Steaua Bucharest), Chavdar Yankov (Metallurh Donetsk), Stiliyan Petrov (Aston Villa), Georgi Peev (Amkar), Nikolay Dimitrov (Kasampasa), Martin Petrov (Bolton), Iliyan Mitsanski (Kaiserslautern), Valeri Domovchiyski (Hertha Berlin), Valeri Bojinov (Parma), Martin Kamburov (Dalian Shide), Dimitar Rangelov (Borussia Dortmund), Ivelin Popov (Litex Lovech).
