Captain John Mensah hopes Ghana can become the first African side to beat England when the teams meet at Wembley.
Tuesday night's international friendly will see Fabio Capello make a raft of changes to his Three Lions side following their win over Wales at the weekend, but Sunderland defender Mensah is unconcerned by the switches.
The 28-year-old feels whichever players the Italian boss decides to field will present a tough challenge, but has his sights set on a historic win.

Mensah said: "This is the first time we are going to play against England so it is very important to us.
"I'm not too worried about those not playing because anyone who plays for England are capable of doing the job.
"Maybe the fans would prefer to see people like Wayne Rooney but I don't think those that are playing are not good.
"I know that if they have the national jersey, they are good players.
"It is going to be an historic match because if we win against England, we make history and we want to do that.
"We do not under-rate England - whoever plays for them."
Mensah is aware of the threat likely to be posed by former North East rival Andy Carroll, who is set to start for England for the first time since his £35million transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool in January.
He said: "For me, I don't think there is any big difference between him and the other top strikers.
"All I know is that I know Carroll is a good player.
"I played against him in the Liverpool game recently. The most important thing is to make sure he doesn't penetrate us.
"He is just coming back from injury but when he played against us, he played well."
Impact
Mensah's Black Cats team-mate Asamoah Gyan has hailed the impact of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who made his competitive debut for England against Wales.
Gyan said: "Wilshere has made a big impression. He is a young lad who is improving so well.
"He is getting his confidence into the national team. Fabio Capello is a good coach who is improving the players."
