Next year marks the 50th anniversary of England winning the World Cup and we need to hear from you for a film we are making to mark the occasion...

On July 30 1966, England beat West Germany 4-2 to win the Jules Rimet trophy for the very first, and so far only, time in the country's history.

The Three Lions' victory at Wembley Stadium remains the greatest moment in English football history, and to celebrate the occasion, Sky Sports Originals are making a very special film.

Featuring interviews with many of Sir Alf Ramsey's lineup that day, including man-of-the-match and hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst, goalkeeper Gordon Banks, striker Jimmy Greaves, midfielder Martin Peters, defenders George Cohen and Ray Wilson, and more, we'll look at who did it, how they did, and what it meant - both to the national game and the country in general.

Amongst his team mates celebrating with him are goalkeeper Gordon Banks, Alan Ball on his right and team captain Bobby Moore (1941 - 1993) at his left. (Photo by Hulton Archive/Getty Images)

We would love to speak to fans at the time to get their memories of the never-to-be-forgotten event - and whether you were at the home of football that day or watched it on television, your contributions can help us get a sense of the history and make the film a real success.

Ideally we are looking for contributions such as CineFilm, home video of street parties, celebrations, memorabilia and any supporters happy to be interviewed for the film.
