Gordon Strachan is relishing the chance to examine a different group of players as he weighs up his options for Scotland's World Cup qualifying campaign.
Strachan named two separate squads for the international friendly matches against Czech Republic and Denmark, with a number of fringe players and youngsters being called up.
Scotland pulled off a 1-0 win in Prague on Thursday evening and now face Denmark at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
There are six uncapped players in the squad to face the Danes, including Leeds centre-back Liam Cooper, Brighton winger Jamie Murphy, and wide-man Oliver Burke of Nottingham Forest.
Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain, who was on the bench against the Czechs, remains with the squad, while Celtic's 18-year-old full-back Kieran Tierney and John McGinn of Hibernian could also make their first senior appearance.
"It's a different group of players. Some of them have different assets than the group we had before so we'll use that and see how that works," Strachan said.
"It's been refreshing because every day has been worthwhile. Normally when you play an international, especially away from home, it takes a couple of days (to recover) but we were training again at 3.30pm with this new group the next day.
"It's been great. There has not been a minute wasted. It's been good for the players because they have only had to be with us for four days so they either come to us refreshed or we send them back with a long time to recover for the next game so that's been good.
"The bonus has been the attitude of the players. The guys who have come that we have not seen in a while or not seen at all before have energised the coaching staff."
