Charlie Adam: Gordon Strachan wrong to bring Scott Brown back for Scotland over me

Charlie Adam says Gordon Strachan will not pick him for Scotland, and thinks bringing Scott Brown out of retirement is "wrong".
Brown announced his retirement from international football in August, but subsequently told Strachan he was available for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers and was called up to the current squad to face England on Friday.
Stoke City midfielder Adam has not played for Scotland since June 2015 and believes he will continue to be snubbed for selection while Strachan is in charge.
"I feel that I won't get the opportunity under the manager at the moment, it's as simple as that," Adam said.
"When you bring players back that supposedly retire, and they're coming back just because it's England, I disagree with it. I think it's wrong.
"There are players out there that want an opportunity to be in the squad. But the manager feels fit to pick these players and I must not be his type of player because in 18 months I haven't spoken to him."
Adam had fallen out of favour for club side Stoke this season, only making two substitute appearances in Stoke's first nine Premier League games, but has started both of the Potters' last two fixtures.
The 30-year-old admits his lack of first-team minutes may have impacted his chances of playing for Scotland, but believes a change in management would have a big impact.
"I think I'd have more of a chance of playing under a new manager than I would at the moment," Adam said.
"If it comes down to quality, then yes I do, if it comes down to lack of game time, ok I might struggle that way.
"But I showed the other night, I hadn't played for a number of months and looked as if I'd played all season. It's one of them, the manager picks his squad and we have to deal with it."
