Controversy surrounds Ramsey and Bale

Gary Speed has announced his 24-man Wales squad ahead of their forthcoming friendly against Norway on 12th November. Captain Aaron Ramsey and Tottenham winger Gareth Bale have been named and expect a divided reception at the Cardiff City Stadium after modelling the Great Britain supporters' jersey for the London 2012 Olympics. The Football Association of Wales has made it clear it disapproves of its players being available for selection in Stuart Pearce's Olympic squad despite the Wales pair revealing they would both play if asked. Elsewhere, Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw returns after a thigh injury ruled him out of wins over Switzerland and Bulgaria. Aston Villa's James Collins, Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley and Stoke defender Danny Collins, currently on loan at Ipswich, are recalled after being forced to withdraw from the final Euro 2012 qualifiers through injury. But QPR defender Danny Gabbidon is left out as he continues to return to full fitness after being sidelined for six weeks prior to his comeback against Spurs last weekend. Squad: Hennessey (Wolves), Myhill (Birmingham); Blake (Cardiff), D Collins (Ipswich), J Collins (Aston Villa), Gunter (Nottingham Forest), Matthews (Celtic), Taylor (Swansea), Williams (Swansea); Allen (Swansea), Bale (Tottenham), Collison (West Ham), Crofts (Norwich), Edwards (Wolves), King (Leicester), Ledley (Celtic), Ramsey (Arsenal), Robson-Kanu (Reading), Vaughan (Sunderland); Bellamy (Liverpool), Church (Reading), Earnshaw (Cardiff), Morison (Norwich), Vokes (Wolves)
