The Irish Football Association has made an extra 1,500 tickets available for next month's crucial European Qualifier against Greece.

The redevelopment of Windsor Park led to a reduced capacity of just over 10,000 for the recent home matches with Hungary, Romania and Finland.

But with victory against the Greeks enough to guarantee a first appearance at a major tournament in 30 years, the IFA has to accommodate extra supporters for the tie on October 8.

A total of 11,700 fans will now be on hand to watch Michael O'Neill's side attempt to book their spot at next summer's Euro 2016 finals in France.
