Security has been stepped up at the Republic of Ireland's training base in Versailles in the wake of the murder of two police officials.
There was a noticeably more prominent police presence at the Stade de Montbauron on Wednesday morning as a result of the stabbing to death of a police commander and his wife at Magnanville - around a 30-mile drive from Versailles - to the west of Paris on Monday evening.
Security was already tight around the tournament with armed guards patrolling the team hotel and travelling on the coach with the players.
However, assistant manager Roy Keane insisted at the weekend that their presence was far from obtrusive and had had little impact on the staff or the squad.
Ireland were training on Wednesday as they continued preparations for Saturday's Group E clash with Belgium in Bordeaux, having drawn their opening game against Sweden in Paris.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed a fan who had gone missing in Paris for 24 hours has been found.
Lee McGlaughlin, 19, from Inishowen, County Donegal, had been due to fly home on Tuesday, but had not been seen since leaving his hotel earlier that day. However, on Wednesday morning it was confirmed he had been traced.
