Republic of Ireland are monitoring goalkeeper Jack Bonham ahead of a potential future call-up, Sky Sports News understands.
The 25-year-old is on loan at Bristol Rovers from Sky Bet Championship club Brentford and has the best save percentage of any first-choice goalkeeper in England so far this season with 91.5 per cent.
Sky Sports News understands that Ireland scouts will watch Bonham at Bristol Rovers' League One clash with Oxford United this weekend.
Bonham represented Ireland at U17 level, during his time in the Watford academy, but also remains eligible for England.
His contract at Brentford is up at the end of the season and there have not yet been any discussions over an extension.
Bonham spent last season on loan at Carlisle, where he made 42 League Two appearances.
