The moment of magic came in an important World Cup Group C Qualifier between the top two teams in the pool - and when the game was only two minutes old.
Windsor Park was rocking when the game kicked off, but Germany stamped their authority on the match immediately as Rudy's thunderbolt from 30 yards flashed past Michael McGovern in the home goal.
