Real Betis have appointed former Las Palmas boss Quique Setien as their new head coach.
Setien has left Los Amarillos to join Betis after a successful two-year spell in charge of the Gran Canaria club.
The 58-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Andalusian side, who sacked both Victor Sanchez del Amo and Gus Poyet last season.
Setien began his managerial career at Racing Santander but made his name during a six-year spell in charge of Segunda Division side Lugo.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder then moved on to Las Palmas, who he guided to an 11th-place finish in his debut season at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
Las Palmas began last season in impressive form but eventually fell away to finish 14th in the league - level on points with Betis.
A club statement welcomed Setien to the Benito Villamarin: "Real Betis Balompie has signed Quique Setien as the new coach for the next three seasons.
"The Cantabrian joins the green and whites until June 2020.
"With the arrival of Setien, the Real Betis bet on a style of play that is close to what the Betis fans demand."
