All the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Friday, June 30.
Liverpool are ready to test RB Leipzig's resolve with a bid for £70m-rated midfielder Naby Keita, according to the Daily Mirror.
Keita was one of the Bundesliga's star performers last season, scoring eight goals and setting up seven, and Jurgen Klopp has made him his top next target, says the paper.
Leipzig chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff has claimed it would be "irresponsible" to cash in on the Guinea international before their first Champions League campaign but Keita has admitted ambitions of playing for "one of the very big clubs" and mentioned Liverpool earlier this week.
Adding Keita to their ranks will not put Liverpool off Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, says the Daily Express.
The Reds have reportedly enquired about his availability and while a deal is not currently close, it is understood Arsenal will reluctantly sell if their stand-off with the player over a new deal continues.
Hull left-back Andy Robertson is on Jurgen Klopp's radar should Alberto Moreno decide to leave Anfield in the coming weeks, write the Liverpool Echo and the Daily Mail. Robertson was linked with a move away from Humberside in January and is rated at £8m by the Hull hierarchy.
Defender Joe Gomez is attracting the attention of Brighton boss Chris Hughton, according to the Brighton Argus.
Gomez, 20, was limited to three appearances in the FA Cup last season as he recovered from a long-term injury.
Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo is in demand, with the Newcastle Chronicle reporting that Newcastle face competition from Burnley and Middlesbrough for his signature.
The Liverpool Echo reports that a Magpies bid for Ojo has been rejected by Jurgen Klopp but that a decision on whether he is loaned out will be made later in the summer.
