Championship
Promotion: Ipswich, Millwall & Middlesbrough battle for second
Coventry have already sealed promotion and the title, so it is down to Ipswich, Millwall and Middlesbrough for the final spot.
Ipswich are in the driving seat, but a slip could allow one of the other two to pounce and finish second.
The key games...
- Ipswich vs QPR
- Millwall vs Oxford
- Wrexham vs Middlesbrough
Ipswich face a QPR side in mid-table, while Millwall's opponents Oxford have already been relegated. Middlesbrough face the toughest challenge of a Wrexham side still trying to finish in the play-offs.
Permutations...
- Ipswich will be promoted if they win. A draw will be enough if Millwall fail to win and Middlesbrough do not win by more than five goals. Up regardless if Millwall and Middlesbrough fail to win.
- Millwall will be promoted if they win and Ipswich fail to win.
- Middlesbrough will be promoted if they win, Ipswich lose and Millwall fail to win. Or if they win by six or more goals, Ipswich draw and Millwall fail to win.
Play-offs: Wrexham, Hull & Derby vie for sixth
Once again, it is one from three. Wrexham are in pole position in sixth, Hull are seventh and Derby eighth.
The key games...
- Derby vs Sheff Utd
- Hull vs Norwich
- Wrexham vs Middlesbrough
All three sides are at home, and Derby and Hull are playing mid-table sides with nothing to play for. Wrexham, meanwhile, face a Middlesbrough side who need to win to have any chance of finishing second. They also need a win to guarantee a home tie in the second leg of the semi-finals, if they make the play-offs.
Permutations...
- Wrexham will be in play-offs if they win, providing Hull do not win by one more goal. A draw will be enough if Hull and Derby fail to win. They will finish in the top six regardless if Hull and Derby lose, providing Wrexham's margin of defeat is not greater than Hull's.
- Hull will be in play-offs if they win and Wrexham fail to win, or they win by one more goal than Wrexham's margin of victory. A draw will be enough if Wrexham lose and Derby fail to win. They will finish in the top six regardless if Wrexham lose by one more goal than Hull's margin of defeat and Derby lose.
- There is a scenario in which Wrexham and Hull could both win (3-2 and 2-0, 4-2 and 3-0, 4-3 and 3-1 etc) and finish with identical records. In this scenario, the head-to-head record between the sides would come into play - Hull did the double over Wrexham, so would finish higher in table.
- Derby will be in play-offs if they win and Wrexham and Hull fail to win. A point will be enough if Wrexham and Hull lose.
League One
Play-offs: Three from five still to book spots
First and second have been decided. Lincoln City are champions and Cardiff have been promoted. Bolton are the only side guaranteed a play-off place, meanwhile.
It is three from five for the remaining spots.
The key games...
- Barnsley vs Stockport
- Bolton vs Luton
- Exeter vs Bradford
- Northampton vs Plymouth
- Stevenage vs Wigan
Permutations...
- Stockport will be in play-offs if they avoid defeat or if either Bradford lose, Stevenage fail to win or Luton fail to win.
- Bradford will be in play-offs if they avoid defeat or if Stevenage or Luton fail to win.
- Stevenage will be in play-offs if they win or if Luton fail to better their result.
- Luton will be in play-offs if they win and either Stockport lose, Bradford lose or Stevenage fail to win. A draw will be enough if Stevenage lose and Plymouth fail to win.
- Plymouth will be in play-offs if they win and Stevenage and Luton fail to win.
Relegation: Exeter or Leyton Orient?
Three sides are already down, one more will join them. Exeter currently occupy 21st, but will be hoping to leap above Leyton Orient and to safety.
The key games...
- Exeter vs Bradford
- Leyton Orient vs Burton
Permutations...
- Exeter will be relegated if they fail to win. Will only survive if they win and Leyton Orient fail to win.
- Leyton Orient will be relegated if they fail to win and Exeter win.
League Two

The key games...
- Crewe vs Cambridge
- Crawley vs Salford
- Notts County vs Bristol Rovers
Permutations...

- Salford will be promoted if they win and Cambridge fail to win.
- Notts County will be promoted if they win, Cambridge lose and Salford fail to win.
Play-offs: Chesterfield or Swindon?

- Swindon will be in play-offs if they win.
Play-offs: Two from five will go down
The key games...
- Barrow vs Newport
- Harrogate vs Barnet
- Crawley vs Salford
- Tranmere vs Grimsby
Permutations...
- Barrow will be relegated if they fail to win. They will only survive if they win and Crawley lose with an eight-goal swing AND Harrogate lose.
---------------------- - Harrogate will be relegated if they lose, providing Crawley do not lose by five more goals than they do.
- Also down if they draw, Newport and Crawley avoid defeat and Tranmere do not lose by four or more goals. Down regardless if Tranmere, Newport and Crawley all win.
- Will only survive if they win and one of Tranmere, Newport and Crawley fail to win. A point will be enough if either Crawley lose, Newport lose or Tranmere lose by four or more goals.
---------------------- - Crawley will be relegated if they lose and either Harrogate avoid defeat or Barrow win with an eight-goal swing. Also down if they draw, Harrogate win and Newport and Tranmere avoid defeat.
