The Carabao Cup is back for the 2026/27 season, with every first-round tie available to watch live on Sky Sports!

West Ham, Burnley and Wolves are among those in action; follow the goals as they go in across Saturday's packed schedule on Soccer Saturday.

Every tie from the opening round will be shown live on Sky Sports, with clubs from the Championship, League One and League Two entering the competition.

The first-round action begins on Thursday when Bristol City host Walsall at Ashton Gate, before three more matches on Friday evening. Wolves begin their campaign at home to Port Vale, Middlesbrough host Wrexham and Stevenage travel to Wycombe.

Saturday brings the bulk of the first-round fixtures, beginning with Cambridge United against Barnet at 1pm before QPR host London rivals Millwall at 2pm.

There is then a packed programme of 3pm kick-offs, with Burnley hosting Notts County, West Ham taking on Portsmouth and Leicester facing Northampton Town among the standout ties.

Elsewhere, Swansea meet Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday host Bolton and Norwich welcome MK Dons, while Southampton travel to Colchester United.

The Saturday action concludes with Cheltenham against Charlton, Colchester versus Southampton and Rotherham facing West Brom, with all games kicking off at 5.30pm.

Soccer Saturday will also be across the afternoon's action, bringing you the goals and major moments as they happen from around the grounds.

The opening round continues on Sunday as Mansfield Town host Sheffield United at 4pm. Plymouth Argyle against Exeter City brings a Devon derby to Sky Sports on Monday night.

In case you can't be in front of a TV, you can still keep up with all of the action with our dedicated blogs across the weekend and throughout the competition.

The competition will continue throughout the season, with round two taking place in the week commencing August 24.

The nine Premier League sides in Europe - Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sunderland and Crystal Palace - come in for the third round.
