New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips says he has had no contact from Bournemouth over a loan move.

Bournemouth have been without Callum Wilson - their highest scorer this season and during the 2014/15 promotion campaign - since September after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

The Daily Mirror has linked Wright-Phillips, who has scored 44 goals in 66 games for New York Red Bulls over the last two seasons, with a return to England but the 30-year-old says he is only focused on Red Bulls' MLS eastern conference final second leg decider against Columbus Crew on Sunday night.

"If anyone starts scoring, people always go linking them to a team but if I'm being honest I haven't heard anything," he told Sky Sports.

"Besides I wouldn't want a phone call about that just yet because we've got a big game for New York Red Bulls, and this is something we've had our heart set on since the beginning of the season.

"These kind of things I try not to pay attention to because it really can distract you from doing the job for the club you play for. I've heard rumours but I'm not sure if it's true."

He added: "I don't think about that [a loan move] now, honestly I haven't even thought about that. All I think is about the game coming up for New York Red Bulls."
