Bradley Wright-Phillips has been shortlisted for this season's MLS Most Valuable Player award.
The former Charlton, Plymouth, Southampton and Manchester City striker is on a three-man list with New York Red Bulls team-mate Sacha Kljestan and New York City FC star David Villa.
Wright-Phillips secured his second career MLS Golden Boot gong this campaign with 24 goals and is his club's all-time leading goal with 69 strikes in four seasons since moving to the US.
American midfielder Kljestan is included after making a league-best 20 assists while Spain's record goalscorer, Villa, finished the season just one goal shy of Wright-Phillips' tally and helped City reach the play-offs for the first time.
Villa's team-mate Frank Lampard has been nominated for the Comeback Player of the Year Ward after netting 12 goals and three assists.
The former Chelsea man was dubbed the 'worst signing in MLS in history' earlier this year but has since won over fans and has established himself as key player for Patrick Vieira's side.
Arsenal legend Vieira is in the running for Coach of the Year, while City's Stoke-born winger Jack Harrison is up for Rookie of the Year.
