Miguel Almiron scored a hat-trick as Atlanta United hammered Houston Dynamo 4-1 in MLS.

Almiron scored in the 30th, 42nd and 80th minutes, with Julian Gressel adding another, as United ran riot.

Reigning MLS champions Seattle Sounders ended their three-game slump by beating Real Salt Lake City 1-0.

The Sounders had lost three in a row but got back to winning ways thanks to Harry Shipp's first-half goal.

Ignacio Piatti's double inspired Montreal Impact's 4-1 win over Portland Timbers while Philadelphia Union registered a fourth successive win for the first time in their history with a 2-1 win over Colorado Rapids.

The Union made club history as the win was their first ever four-game winning streak.

Chicago Fire beat DC United 1-0 thanks to a second-half strike from David Accam in the 52nd minute.
