MLS round-up: Daniel Royer at the double as New York Red Bulls win again

Daniel Royer hit a brace to help the New York Red Bulls to a fourth consecutive victory by way of a 4-0 MLS win over the Montreal Impact.

Royer opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute before Michael Murillo doubled their advantage after 58 minutes.

Bradley Wright-Phillips' 80th MLS goal wrapped up victory and Royer struck in the last minute to complete the rout.

Kei Kamara scored twice to lead the New England Revolution to a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Union.

Kamara got on the end of Kelyn Rowe's cross to open the scoring in the 35th minute before drilling in a second with five minutes remaining. Juan Agudelo then rubber-stamped the victory with a last-minute header.

Freddy Montero was another to find the net twice as he guided the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 4-0 win over FC Dallas, who had Carlos Gruezo dismissed after 59 minutes.

Kaka scored a long-range stunner for Orlando City at Atlanta United, who equalised in stoppage time through Hector Villalba in a 1-1 draw.

Juan Cabezas headed home Memo Rodriguez's free-kick nine minutes from time to earn the Houston Dynamo a 2-2 draw with the Portland Timbers.

Goals from Daniel Salloi, Benny Feilhaber and Latif Blessing gave Sporting Kansas City a 3-2 win over the Chicago Fire and Minnesota United ended a run of 358 minutes without a goal in fine style with a 4-0 win over DC United.

A pair of goals from Ola Kamara helped the Columbus Crew draw 2-2 with Real Salt Lake and the LA Galaxy were held to a goalless draw by the Seattle Sounders.

Nick Lima's solitary goal was enough for a 1-0 San Jose Earthquakes victory over the Colorado Rapids.
