Sebastian Giovinco struck twice to help Toronto FC move five points clear at the top of the Eastern Conference after a 4-0 win over New York City FC.
Giovinco scored his 49th and 50th goals in the MLS to put TFC 2-0 to the good after 67 minutes before Jozy Altidore tucked home his ninth goal of the season from the penalty spot.
Raheem Edwards then wrapped up victory with his first career goal with eight minutes remaining.
