MLS round-up: Montreal Impact maintain play-off push

Montreal Impact continued their push for a spot in the MLS play-offs with a 3-0 win over the Chicago Fire on Wednesday night.

Ignacio Piatti scored in each half - either side of a penalty which Matteo Mancosu won and then scored - as the Impact registered their third straight win.

The win puts Montreal seventh in the East, two points behind Columbus Crew and Atlanta United, who are fifth and sixth.

Chicago remain third after the loss.
