Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he is still adjusting to his new surroundings at LA Galaxy in the MLS.
The 36-year-old moved to Galaxy from Manchester United in March but has said that he misses his old club and manager Jose Mourinho.
Ibrahimovic scored two goals on his MLS debut against local rivals LAFC on March 31, helping his side to a 4-3 win - but has only scored once since.
However, the former Sweden international believes he is still getting used to the change in pace in the MLS.
"It's a big contrast from where I came from. This is what I said in the beginning, I'm looking and I'm learning," he said.
"I need to adjust and come into the system. I'm not used to playing one game a week, it's too much time between games so my adrenaline is very high and I need to have patience to wait for the next game."
The Swedish FA announced last month that Ibrahimovic will not come out of international retirement for the World Cup, and the striker says he remains focused on his season with LA Galaxy and believes his side will improve game by game.
"I'm positive. I have big motivation and I just look forward to every game because training is one thing, playing games is another, so we need games."
