Football pundit Taylor Twellman was outraged after the USA failed to qualify for the World Cup - watch his reaction here.
The USA lost 2-1 to Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday night meaning they finished second bottom of the North, Central America and Caribbean group.
Twellman said that it was an utter embarrassment that the US had failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986.
Bruce Arena's side had only needed a draw at the Ato Boldon Stadium to be close to certain of obtaining a play-off spot.
However an Omar Gonzalez own goal and a superb strike from Alvin Jones meant that Trinidad claimed all three points.
US star Christian Pulisic pulled a goal back in the second half, but the increasingly desperate Americans were unable to find another to rescue their hopes.
