Samoa ring changes for Scotland World Cup game
Thursday 8 October 2015 15:34, UK
Samoa scrum-half Kahn Fotuali'i will captain the side against Scotland in their final Rugby World Cup Pool B game on Saturday.
Fotuali'i takes the armband from back-rower Ofisa Treviranus as head coach Stephen Betham makes seven changes from the side that lost 25-6 to Japan.
Samoa will have a new centre partnership, with Rey Lee-Lo and George Pisi combining for the first time at international level.
Flankers Maurie Fa'asavalu and Jack Lam will join No 8 Alafoti Fa'osiliva in a new back row combination.
Fa'atoina Autagavaia, whose only previous game during the tournament came in the final eight minutes of the 25-16 win over the USA, will play on the left wing in place of the suspended Alesana Tuilagi.
The final change from the Japan game sees hooker Manu Leiataua come into the starting XV.
Samoa cannot advance to the knockout stages of the competition but could prevent Scotland from progressing in the tournament if they claim victory and Japan defeat the USA on Sunday.
