Blackburn have secured the services of Bradley Dack from Gillingham for £750,000.
The 23-year-old playmaker has signed a three-year-deal with Rovers, with the option of a fourth for an initial fee of £750,000, though there could be add-ons.
Dack has impressed for Gills since breaking into the first team three years ago, and was named League One Player of the Year in 2015-16 after netting 15 times in all competitions.
He failed to hit the same heights last season, but still impressed enough to earn a move to newly-relegated Blackburn, where he joins Peter Whittingham and Richie Smallwood through the door.
Gillingham chairman Paul Scally accepted Dack's decision to move on, telling the club website: "As much as we're disappointed to see Bradley go we understood that he needed a fresh challenge to further his career."
