Former Fulham striker links up with Adams in Azerbaijan

Skysports.com understands former Fulham striker Collins John has joined Tony Adams' Gabala FC. The Dutchman arrives at Gabala FC on a free transfer after leaving Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire in September. Adams knows all about John from his time in England with Fulham, with the 25-year-old scoring 20 goals in 95 appearances for the Cottagers. The signing is something of a coup for Azerbaijan outfit Gabala FC as Adams looks to make them a force in their domestic league. John could form a new strike partnership with former Charlton and Derby ace Deon Burton for Gabala.
