Striker agrees loan exit from Reading

Reading striker Mathieu Manset is poised to join Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, Sky Sports understands Shenhu, who recently signed Nicolas Anelka from Chelsea, have lined up a loan deal for Manset who has fallen down the pecking order at Reading this season. The 22-year-old has only six starts in all competitions this season and the January arrival of Jason Roberts has further limited his first-team chances. Reading are prepared to loan out Manset and the former Hereford man is keen to move on in search of regular first-team fooball with the Royals set to receive a loan fee for the Frenchman. The signing will complete the Chinese club's quota of four foreign players, which include Anelka, Brazil's Moises and Bosnian midfielder Mario Bozic.
