Sky Sports understands Manchester City have won the race for highly-rated French teenager Jules Ntcham. The Le Havre midfielder is regarded as the most promising French youngster of his generation and has been linked with the liks of Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Juventus. However, City have managed to fend off the interest in Ntcham to lure him to the Etihad Stadium. Ntcham is believed to have been in Manchester on Monday to hold talks with the club before finalising his switch to Eastlands Ntcham turned down the chance to sign a professional contract with Le Havre and City will have to pay the French club a compensation fee for his services. The 16-year-old, who has been likened to former Chelsea and France star Marcel Desailly, is expected to go into City's Academy before pushing for a place in Roberto Mancini's star-studded first-team.
