Lyon have completed the signing of defender Dejan Lovren from Dynamo Zagreb. Lovren, who had been linked with a move to Tottenham in the transfer window, joins the former French champions for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal which will see him remain at Stade Gerland until 2014. Zagreb confirmed the transfer via a statement on the club's official website, which read: "Starting from today (Wednesday), Dejan Lovren is officially a Lyon player having signed a contract with the club." Lyon are sixth in Ligue 1 after a rocky start and have been desperate to bolster their weak defence this term. They have conceded eight goals in their last five league games and sit 13 points adrift of leaders Bordeaux.
