Juventus have announced the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur from Boca Juniors for 9.5 million euros (£8m).
The Uruguayan has penned a five-year contract with the Serie A champions and will officially move on July 1.
Bentancur joined Boca at the age of 14 and made his first-team debut for the Argentine outfit as a 17-year-old in April 2015.
"I'm really happy. I'm delighted that a club like Juventus was interested in me," Bentancur said, as quoted on the club's Twitter account.
"It's a huge honour to be able to come here, so I'm very happy to have this opportunity.
"I watch the Italian league a lot and know that it's very different to Argentina. It's a more physical game but it's a big opportunity.
"I'm still young and have a lot to learn, so I'm going to try to take full advantage of this chance."
Juventus' website states that the £8m fee may increase depending on the number of games Bentancur plays for the club.
And as part of the deal, Boca will get 50 per cent of any future transfer fee that Juventus receive for the midfielder.
