Mikel Arteta has agreed a new deal to extend his stay at Arsenal.
The 44-year-old's existing contract with the Premier League champions, signed in September 2024, was due to expire next summer.
But the Spaniard, who was appointed in 2019, has committed his future to the club and confirmation of his new agreement is expected during this international break.
When asked about his contract situation ahead of Arsenal's trip to Brighton on Saturday, Arteta said: "I think we are all very much aligned; whenever the time is right, we'll get that done. There is nothing to be concerned about.
"I think we both have the same ambition and the same will. So whenever we have time, we'll get that resolved."

Arteta has transformed Arsenal's fortunes during his tenure and guided the club to their first Premier League title in 22 years last season following three straight second-place finishes.
He also led the Gunners to only their second Champions League final, which they lost on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain. He has previously won an FA Cup and three Community Shields.
'Arteta's new deal agreed but not signed'
Analysis by Sky Sports News' Gary Cotterill:
"It's not signed yet. Officially, the club are not saying it has been agreed, but our understanding is that an agreement has been in place for a couple of weeks.
"Mikel Arteta alluded to that on Friday when I asked him about it. He said they are aligned and in agreement.
"So, I believe the deal is agreed. It's now a case of sorting the formalities, sitting down and signing the contract.
"I expect that to happen during the next international break, potentially within the next two weeks.
"When he signed his current contract two years ago, that was also completed during the international break, on September 12.
"He tends to compartmentalise things. He has a break, then turns his attention to his future.
"The agreement has been in place for weeks. The only thing left now is to get the contract signed and make the announcement. The full details of the deal should follow in the coming weeks."
