Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between York City and Northampton Town.

Ollie Pearce’s late equaliser rescued a point for York in a 1-1 draw against Northampton, but the hosts missed out on matching a club record.

The Minstermen were hoping to rack up a 14th straight home league win to take their place in the record books alongside the club's class of 1964/65.

But Scott Lindsey's men were forced to settle for a share of the spoils following Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh's first-half opener.

The Cobblers took their surprise lead in the 10th minute when York could only clear Lee Evans' corner as far as O'Brien-Whitmarsh, who rifled a first-time 15-yard strike past Alfie McNally.

York responded with Pearce twice finding the net, only for both efforts to be flagged offside, but the visitors went close to doubling their advantage before the break when Elliott Moore headed against the crossbar.

The Minstermen's leveller came in the 84th minute when Jeff King's cross fell to Pearce and he steered a clinical effort beyond Zach Jeacock.

It meant Northampton have now won just one of their last 27 fixtures - a sorry sequence stretching back to February.
