Crawley 2-2 Chesterfield
Saturday 10 October 2026 17:55, UK
Two second-half goals from substitute Gianmarco Di Biase gave struggling Crawley their first home point of the season in a 2-2 draw against Chesterfield.
The Spireites had taken control with goals from Lee Bonis and Louie Marsh, but Di Biase's double came within the space of five minutes to end a run of three straight defeats.
Chesterfield, unchanged for the third league game in succession, threatened twice through Joel Randall before Bonis gave them the lead with his fourth league goal of the season.
Bonis struck with a first-time shot from a cross by Lewis Gordon, and should have doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time when he blazed over from Randall's pass.
Marsh made it 2-0 for the Spireites on 56 minutes, stroking the ball home after Lewis Richards blocked a goalbound shot from Dilan Markanday.

Substitute Di Biase was introduced just before the hour and scored from the penalty spot two minutes later, after keeper Ryan Boot fouled Priestley Farquharson, and the former Juventus striker then drew Crawley level by deflecting in a shot from Dylan Morgan.
