Oldham 0-0 Accrington

Oldham arrested a run of four straight League Two defeats in a drab goalless draw with Accrington at Boundary Park.
A clean sheet would be the only positive for Micky Mellon's men, who struggled to carve out chances and only had one attempt at goal in the opening 45 minutes.
Accrington, boosted by five points from their last three games, had the better of possession and efforts at goal, but did not ask enough questions of goalkeeper Mat Hudson, whose only save was from Alex Henderson with a shot on the turn on the half-hour.

There were little improvement for either side in the second half.
The introduction of Kane Drummond injected some much-needed energy and pace into Oldham, but there was no end product.
Oldham appealed for a penalty when Keenan Appiah-Forson's cutback struck the hand of Devon Matthews but the referee instead awarded a corner.
Stefan Mols went close with a stoppage-time free-kick for Accrington, who are now unbeaten in four league games.
