Leyton Orient returned to winning ways as they confidently dispatched Cambridge 3-0 at the Betwright Stadium.
Efforts from Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Jaze Kabia and Aaron Connolly stopped a run of two straight losses growing longer and handed the visitors only their second defeat in 11 games.
After goalkeeper Nathan Baxter turned a Zak Bradshaw effort onto the bar, Orient took the lead in the 32nd minute.
Edmonds-Green connected first time with an Alex Gilbert corner, although there was a touch of fortune with the ball hitting a post and ricocheting in.
Baxter almost gifted Cambridge an equaliser two minutes after the restart when he failed to collect properly in the area, but he was able to keep the ball away from Louis Appare.
However, Orient doubled their lead in the 49th minute when goalscorer Edmonds-Green turned provider for the unmarked Kabia to net from less than six yards out.
And the east London side rubber-stamped all three points with a goal at the end of a superb solo run from Connolly from inside his own half after the hour mark.
