Charlton boss Russell Slade will make "one or two changes" for the FA Cup visit of Scunthorpe.

Lee Novak could be in line for a start after climbing off the bench to head a late winner against Chesterfield last weekend.

Fellow striker Jordan Botaka could also figure having shaken off an injury picked up while on international duty with Congo.

Midfielder Ahmed Kashi remains a long-term absentee with an Achilles injury.

High-flying Scunthorpe are without Neal Bishop who is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last week's 4-1 over Swindon.

But boss Graham Alexander has plenty of options with Sam Mantom and Jamie Ness both vying to replace Bishop in the starting line-up.

Richie Smallwood is expected to be declared eligible to play as he has permission in his loan agreement from Rotherham.
